Une carte qui fonctionne parfaitement en laboratoire peut devenir un cauchemar industriel une fois arriv\u00e9e sur les lignes de montage automatis\u00e9es.<\/p><p>C\u2019est l\u00e0 qu\u2019intervient le DFM (<strong>Design for Manufacturing<\/strong>). Le DFM n&rsquo;est pas une contrainte cr\u00e9ative, mais une discipline qui consiste \u00e0 concevoir en anticipant les limites et les exigences des machines de production. Voici comment \u00e9viter quelques pi\u00e8ges classiques et optimiser vos co\u00fbts.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-844653f e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"844653f\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ecc7f8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5ecc7f8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>1. La pr\u00e9cision des empreintes (Footprints) : Le Premier Maillon<\/strong><\/p><p>L&rsquo;erreur la plus commune &#8211; et la plus co\u00fbteuse &#8211; r\u00e9side dans une mauvaise correspondance entre le composant physique et son empreinte sur le circuit imprim\u00e9.<\/p><p>L\u2019utilisation de biblioth\u00e8ques CAO non v\u00e9rifi\u00e9es est \u00e0 \u00e9viter. Un d\u00e9calage de seulement 0,1 mm peut emp\u00eacher une buse de placement (Pick and Place) de poser correctement le composant voir m\u00eame de provoquer un court-circuit.<\/p><p>Il est donc pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de toujours se r\u00e9f\u00e9rer \u00e0 l\u2019empreinte nominale (\u00ab\u00a0Nominal Land Pattern\u00a0\u00bb) de la fiche technique du fabricant.<\/p><p>Une autre bonne pratique est d\u2019int\u00e9grer des rep\u00e8res d\u2019alignement (Fiducials) sur le circuit imprim\u00e9. Ce sont de petits points de cuivre circulaires qui permettent aux cam\u00e9ras des machines SMD de se calibrer avec une pr\u00e9cision microm\u00e9trique.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-57909c2 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"57909c2\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-89bf492 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"89bf492\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>2. Optimisation du placement pour l&rsquo;assemblage automatis\u00e9<\/strong><\/p><p>La disposition des composants sur une carte influence directement la vitesse de pose (donc le co\u00fbt de la carte) et le taux de d\u00e9fauts.<\/p><p><strong>La gestion des zones d&rsquo;exclusion (Keep-out zones)<\/strong><br \/>Il faut respecter un espace suffisant entre les composants pour \u00e9viter un probl\u00e8me lors de la pose ou un court-circuit.<\/p><p><strong>L&rsquo;orientation des composants<\/strong><br \/>Pour la soudure \u00e0 la vague, l&rsquo;orientation est vitale. Si deux composants sont align\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 ce que l&rsquo;un \u00ab\u00a0cache\u00a0\u00bb l&rsquo;autre lors du passage dans le bain d&rsquo;\u00e9tain, on cr\u00e9e un effet d&rsquo;ombre, et le second composant ne sera pas soud\u00e9.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9f22f39 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"9f22f39\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8960133 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8960133\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>3. La Ma\u00eetrise de la Soudure : \u00c9viter le \u00ab\u00a0Tombstoning\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/p><p>Le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de tombstoning (ou effet \u00ab\u00a0menhir\u00a0\u00bb) se produit lorsqu&rsquo;un petit composant passif se dresse verticalement sur l&rsquo;un de ses pads pendant la soudure, rompant ainsi le contact \u00e9lectrique. C\u2019est d\u00fb \u00e0 un d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibre thermique. Si une piste massive est reli\u00e9e \u00e0 un pad et une piste fine \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre, la chaleur ne se r\u00e9partit pas uniform\u00e9ment. L&rsquo;\u00e9tain fond d&rsquo;un c\u00f4t\u00e9 avant l&rsquo;autre, et la tension de surface fait basculer le composant.<br \/>Bien que l\u2019utilisation de soudure sans plomb et de four phase vapeur (comme chez Gigatec) r\u00e9duisent ce probl\u00e8me, la bonne pratique est d\u2019utiliser des freins thermiques (Thermal Reliefs) pour isoler les pads connect\u00e9s \u00e0 de grands plans de cuivre. Cela garantit que les deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s du composant chauffent de mani\u00e8re homog\u00e8ne.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-57c96f3 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"57c96f3\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-aa20c1a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"aa20c1a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>4. La Testabilit\u00e9 : Concevoir pour le Contr\u00f4le Qualit\u00e9<\/strong><\/p><p>Une carte \u00e9lectronique doit pouvoir \u00eatre test\u00e9e pour prouver qu&rsquo;elle fonctionne et pour qu\u2019elle puisse \u00eatre r\u00e9par\u00e9e. Le DFM inclut donc \u00e9galement le DFT (Design for Test).<\/p><p>Chaque signal critique doit \u00eatre accessible par une sonde sur un point de test (Test Pads).<br \/>Ces points doivent \u00eatre regroup\u00e9s sur une seule face du PCB pour permettre l&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;un connecteur de test ou d\u2019une \u00abplanche \u00e0 clou\u00bb (In-Circuit Test &#8211; ICT) par exemple.<\/p><p>Pour une bonne accessibilit\u00e9 il faut \u00e9viter de placer des points de test trop pr\u00e8s des composants hauts, ce qui emp\u00eacherait les sondes de descendre verticalement sur la carte.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a0d8ac6 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"a0d8ac6\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20a62ed elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"20a62ed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<strong>Conclusion : Penser fabrication d\u00e8s le premier coup de crayon\u2026 ou de clic clavier<\/strong>\n\nAppliquer les r\u00e8gles du DFM peut sembler fastidieux lors de la phase de conception, mais c&rsquo;est un investissement dont le retour sur investissement est imm\u00e9diat :\n\n<p>\n<ul>\n \t<li><strong>1. R\u00e9duction du taux de rebut (Scrap)<\/strong><\/li><br \/>\n \t<li><strong>2. Diminution des cycles de retouche manuelle.<\/strong><\/li><br \/>\n\n \t<li><strong>3. Acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de la mise sur le march\u00e9 (Time-to-Market)<\/strong>\/<li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n<p>\t\nLa cl\u00e9 d&rsquo;un projet r\u00e9ussi est la communication : n&rsquo;attendez pas d&rsquo;avoir termin\u00e9 votre design pour nous contacter.
